Looking for information on James Thomas GAMBLE born Feb 20, 1865, Mt Tryon, Prince Edward Island, Canada. He was the son of William Lorenzo GAMBLE and Sarah QUIGLEY. He emigrated to Oriska, ND where he was a blacksmith.
He married May 27, 1891 probably in Oriska, Olive Ellen HAMPSON born July 14, 1866 in Augusta Maine. Olive was the daughter of Ralph HAMPSON and Hannah WALKER, born in England, emigrated to America, settling in Maine, in 1870 in Danforth, Illinois, then finally in 1882 in Oriska, ND.
James and Olive had 2 children: Everett GAMBLE born 1893, died 1964, married Katherine CHASE, and Ethel Jesse GAMBLE born 1895, died 1964, married Edward Dan GRIFFIN.
