Looking for information on English parents and siblings of Ralph Hampson, b in England Feb 3, 1835, where he learned the stonecutting trade. It is unknown when he came to America, or where he first settled. He became a US citizen 9 Sept, 1868 in Cumberland County, Augusta, Maine. He m. Hannah Walker. Their children were Charles, b 23 Aug 1859 in Lewiston, Maine; Olive Ellen, b 14 July 1886 in Augusta, Maine; Anna b 8 April, 1871 in Illinois. The family moved to Illinois in 1870. They moved to ND in 1882, where he owned a farm north of Oriska, ND.
