hiya john thanks for replying to my message,i think we could be onto something .
as far as i can find out, information on my mothers brothers and sisters is as follows.
george (brother) was born between 1909-1912, and lived in hattersley,about 3 miles from denton.
harry (brother) was born approx 1920
sam(brother) died in the early 1920's aged approx 25
charlie(brother) died approx 1940
most of the family lived in dundalk street, chorlton on medlock, manchester, at one point. dundalk street was formerly known as cornbrook place.
recently found out that my mums dad was called sam,and her mother was called alice (we think)
