Thank you for your reply. I was wondering if your Ellen Hampson married John Nolan in England. They had my great-great-grandfather, James Nolan, on April 23, 1853, in England. They are so elusive. Would you possibly know if this Ellen married a Nolan?
Ellen and John were in PA in 1870 with James, Martin and Thomas Nolan. James married Bridget Dowd in 1876, and John Nolan was supposed to have died in Ohio somewhere between 1876 and 1880 (that is my best guess, not a fact.)
Hope to hear that the Ellen's are one and the same. Thank you in advance!!
