Linda, I was amazed to see your inquiry ab the Featherson-Haugh name, since I had never seen it anywhere before except in a book about my husband's family. According to this book, the name Featherson-Haugh somehow evolved, through one of its members at least, into the name Perkinson. The book is titled GOOD MORNING, MR. FEATHERSTONE, I believe. It will take me a while to unearth it here in Messy Manor, but if you have any questions about it, I will be glad to look them up for you. My husband's line in this country goes back to a Page Perkinson, s Jeremiah, s Joel Frederick, da Henrietta m William E. Perry. They migrated from VA, NC, TN. Sorry I don't have dates right now, but can find them if you are interested.
Joy Perry
