The book I have was written by W. Thomas Edwards and Miss Delphine Miller. I was on line searching for Eliza Young, daughter of Martha Hammett and James Young when the title popped up being sold by Friends of the Library. I have seen this book mentioned on this forum so I bought it right then. The book includes "decendants of John Hammett Sr. (ca.1735-1822)and Sarah (Underwood) Haammett (ca. 1740 - 1820. Named in Contemporary Family Letters and In Public Family Records." Areas are SC, NC, GA, VA and Nova Scotia to name a few. I cannot name all the Hammett ancestors in this book for there are alot. If you will email me with the names you want me to look for I will gladly do this for you.
