Allen Hammer-->Jacob Hamor-->Allen Hamer of PA

I have possibly found a link to my ancestory Allen Hamer, and I am wondering if anyone else out there is looking for this family.

(family spelled their last name Hamor, but often it shows up as Hammer in census and newspaper records)

Allen Hammer, born circa 1770 in Pennsylvnia
---lived in East Vincent Township, Chester County, PA from at least 1790 to his death in 1852

His children were Hannah (b. circa 1791) Jacob (b. circa 1793), Martha (b. circa 1795) and John (b. circa 1797). They were his living children mentioned in his will.

I believe Jacob Hamor, Allen's Son, was the father of Henry Hamor, and grandfather of Jesse G. Yeager according to Pennsylvania Court records. He is the father of Elizabeth Hamor (married named Yeager), according to 1850 census records) I also believe Jacob was the father of my ancestor Allen Hamor (who moved to Missouri in 1840 and changed the spelling of his name to Hamer)

The family came from Chester County, PA, but for a short time (around 1850) Jacob Hamor was living in West Reading, Berks County, PA.

Jacob's son Henry Hamor, lived in Chester County until his death sometime after 1900. He had four daughters, Ellen Laura, Annie J., Elizabeth Catherine and Mary E.

If anyone out there is looking for Jacob Hamor or his family I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks.
