Jacob Hamm (Hum, Ham, Humm) (1800-1862) married Magdelena Blank. They were both born in PA and moved to IA. I believe that Jacob's sister, Salome, married Magdelena's brother, Moses Blank. If this is true, it would establish Salome's maiden name as Hamm.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this?
