William Hamlyn born 1804 was the sixth child of Walter Hamlyn(born 1763) and Sarah Bartlett (married 1793) Walter died June 5, 1839. Walter Hamlyn was the son of John Hamlyn and Grace Stancumbe married October, 1767.

William Hamlyn's siblings were Mary (born 1794), Grace (b. 1796), Elizabeth (b. 1798), John (b. 1800), Thomas (b. 1802), Rosamond (b 1807) and Richard (b. 1810). I am descended from Richard. Richard and his wife Mary Hext came to the US in 1851 and settled in South Gate, Indiana.
