Hello again. i hope i didnt affend you with that comment, i used the words that my granny always used about her mother and she never meant those words harshly but i can imagine on here they would sounds a lot harsher.

i think she meant more that her mothers side were very rascally but she would have only have known them as the hampletts anyway and wouldnt remember the name being hamlett i know her mother was a bit of a perfectionist as was my grandmother herself to be honest hehe.

thanks again for your help on this i will certainly have a look into the sheep stealing and see if it was the right time for the family being in staffordshire (if it was staffs).
