Benjamin and Barbara Hamblen, son William b. abt 1842 in ME

I have been searching for the parents of my ancestor William H. Hamlin who married Mary E. Lowell/Lovell about 1870 in Maine. Mary was found in the 1900 Lewiston, Maine census living with their daughter Vesta. William was not buried in the same cemetery as Mary, but I found a William H. Hamlin was buried in a cemetery near Lewiston. Unfortunately I failed to make note of the name. At the time I called the cemetery and they said the parents of this William H. Hamlin were Benjamin and Barbara. William was also the correct age to be my William. The only William Hamlin of his age (8) on the 1850 census was from the same town (Buxton, ME) as Mary also, but he was in the poor house with James and Sarah Hamlin. Benjamin and Barbara weren't to be found on the census. I found a Benjamin and Barbara Hamblen were married in 1818. William might have been a late in life child and parents may have been deceased by 1850. Possibly James and Sarah were relatives. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
