We are tying to find information on John C Hamiter as we are left with no record of his parent's & siblings.

My great-grandather, John C Hamiter, was know to have been a Methodist Circuit Rider (Reily Springs, Texas, Camp #1209) at the time of his death on October 29, 1902. Was said to been been born in Louisiana, possibly, Texas on 12/27/1871.

John C Hamiter was married to Lula M Harrington (Wood County, Texas) and they had three children Marvin Alvin, Richard Olen and Virgene.

They purchased land in Hopkins, County,Texas in 1899.

John C Hamiter was buried in the Yantis Cemetery, Wood County, Texas along side of his wife's parent's, R T & Bettie Ann Harrington.

In 1905 Lula married Granville Mitchell in Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Any feed back would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
