Civil War Civil War Help----Benjamin and Clarissa Hamilton's Family Tree

It has been YEARS since I have TRIED to do any family tree research.....upon having children, going back to school----I have lost touch.

My father, who sparked my interest in 1997, with our family tree research----is asking me questions about descendants who may have served in the CIVIL WAR.

I am listing my family tree from one of Benjamin's sons- until the present time....maybe these names will ring a bell.

ANY help you can give would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

I need to know if any of these served in the Civil War:

* William Hamilton(MY GREAT-GREAT-GREAT-GREAT GRANDFATHER) married Elizabeth Brown and were the parents of * Irvin Brown Hamilton who married Caroline Lee, and John Hamilton who married Margret Daniel.

*Irvin B. Hamilton(MY GREAT-GREAT-GREAT GRANDFATHER) married Caroline Lee and were the parents of : Elizabeth who married Larkin Hargraove, William who married a Miss Dykes, Johnnie whonever married, Pherabee who married John Janes Harrell, and *Bart who married Leila Bradford.

*Bart(MY GREAT-GREAT GRANDFATHER) who married Leila Bradford were the parents of:*Willie L. Hamilton who married Clara Brown Hamilton(Jones), Johnnie who died of Scarlet fever age 2, Caroline who married John Owen Smith, Laura who married W.H. Godfrey, Irvin Bartlett who married Eudell Bowen, Tommie Elizabeth who married 1) a Hamlin 2)Gasaway, Lilly Mae who married a Robins, and Phoebe who married Homer Grady Cohran.

* Willie L. Hamilton(MY GREAT-GRANDFATHER) who was married to Clara Brown Hamilton/Jones had the following children: *Willie L. Hamilton who married Annie Elizabeth Dykes, Perry Brown Hamilton who married Eltice Bowen, and Jimmy Hamilton who married Susan Carpenter.

* Willie L. Hamilton( MY GRANDFATHER) who married Annie Elizabeth Dykes had the following children: Nellie Clara Hamilton Young June 6, 1947 & Willie Leroy Hamilton, Jr.(MY FATHER) August 28, 1949.
