Will of William Hamilton In the name of God Amen, I, Wm. Hamilton about eight two years of age, of sound mind and memory, do ordain, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament. 1st. I give all, both my personal and read Estate to my beloved wife during her life and at her death to be disposed of as herinafter mentioned, except a negro man named Augusta, a woman Rena and a little boy Sam, which negrows I give to her absolutely for her to dispose of at her death. 2dly I give to my son William (beside what I have already given him) a Negro man named Thomas and a little girl named Allas, This gift to take place at the death of my wife, 3dly I give to my son Archabald James, a Negro man named Aprile and his wife Maria, and all my plantation of lands, with the farming tools implements marchienary and furnatures. &c All this 3d givt to take place at the death of my wife, 4thly I give my daughter Elisabeth Gladney a Negro man named Shedrich, a girl named Harriet, & a boy named John, all this 4th gift at the death of my wife 5thly I give my Daughter Sarah Ann, a Negro girl named Jane, a boy named James & a girl named Lauka, also one horse, bridle &c Saddle, & one Cow & calf all at the death of my wife 6thly I give my Daughter Margarate Yarboro & her children, a Negro woman named Margarett, and her child Edy or now called Mary, this 6th gift also to be at the death of my wife, 7thly, I give to my daughter Elisabeth a Negro girl named Dianna in trust for the use and benefit of my grand son, Archibald Gibson, the last son of my daughter Nancy Gibson, and I also will to James and Nancy Jumima the other two children of my Daughter Nancy Gibson each one hundred dollars to be paid at the death of my wife I appoint my son William Y Hamilton and Wm. D. Kersh, my legal Executors And now revoking all wills heretofore made by me I hereby publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.
