Joseph had 2 children that I know of:
James M. Hamilton b. 1861
John Hamilton b. 1858
James M Hamilton is the line I am working on. He married Rosa F. ? b. in New Jersey.
They had the following know children:

Bertha 1888
Irene 1890 – Irene was assistant manager of Hotel in Florida on 1930 Pinellas County, FL census.
Charles F. 1893 Twin
Albert L. 1893 Twin
Lester 1895
James M Hamilton has children born in Georgia, Florida, & North Carolina.
Living in Buncombe County, Asheville, NC 1900 - Occupation Carpenter
Living in Buncombe County, Asheville, NC 1910 - Occupation Carpenter
Living in Essex County, NJ 1920 - Occupation Carpenter
Living in Pinellas County, FL with daughter Irene 1930 – Death Certificate list occupation as Hotel Manager.
If anyone has information on this family I sure would like to exchange what little I have. I would think that James still has grandchildren living.
