My research indicates all relatives came from Ireland and settled in Wisconsin except for my gggfather, William b. 1848. I have no idea how he ended up in Mobile, Alabama. His wife was Mary Ann Pope. Some of the census records indicate MAry and others indicate Maryann... William does not show up after 1890 but I found him in wisconsin visiting other relatives,perhaps he got sick ? and died there.
