Hamilton & McClure researcher
I have very little information in regard to my Hamilton ancestors as I've concentrated mainly on my McClure ancestry. If anybody has a connection to Martha Hamilton, McClure of South Carolina and Monroe Co., Alabama who married Rankin McClure I'd like to discuss this with you. Perhaps it will help me in my search for Martha Hamilton's family. Some researchers of this family also identify Rankin McClure as John Rankin McClure--I don't have documentation on this name. This Hamilton and McClure apparently moved from Virginia to South Carolina during the Indian war in Virginia. The McClure's lived in Augusta County, VA.
