I'm looking for information on John George HAMILTON (b. abt 1845), who died in Saginaw, Michigan in 1897. He came from Hamilton, Ontario, sometime after the 1881 census. He was married in 1873 in Hamilton to Emma FREEZE, of Simcoe. His parents are listed on marriage record as James and Sarah Hamilton,of Hamilton, and her parents are Lewis and Mary Freeze, of Simcoe. He is of Scottish descent, and she is of French, according to census. They had three daughters: Ada Belle (m. Frank A. MASKER), Emma (m. Darwin REED), and Sarah Elizabeth (aka Sadie, never married). All children were born in Hamilton before they moved to Saginaw. John Hamilton was a farmer in Hamilton, but worked in Saginaw as a bricklayer. There may have been relatives around in Saginaw County, but I do not know who they were.

I have not been able to locate the parents of this couple, nor find the death date or place of Emma Freeze Hamilton. Can anyone help?
