I know that Thomas's father's name was William Hamill and his mother's name was Martha Ann Allen, but the only children I am aware of are Thomas, his sister Margaret (Maggie), both of whom went to Scotland, and then my grandfather Andrew and a brother named John. John died as a child. (In fact, from what I have been able to gather, my grandfather's true name was John but for some reason, when he came to America, he began using his deceased brother's name, Andrew.) Anyway, I don't kow if that is helpful or not. I have always been told that there were just the 4 of them but I suppose he could have had more children that I am not aware of. My aunt Charlotte is still alive and she is about the only one left in the family that might know some of this.
