i had agreat uncle living in wisconstin his name was arther his mother and dad were tomas hames and harreit fern hames fern is her maiden name they had to sons there names were daniel arther daniel married ellen kate widdowson at barrow upon soar county of leicester in 1896 her fathers name was sammuel widdowsonido not know who arther married my grandfather and his family came to canada in1906 from england they made there home in the south ferby distric four children came with them elsie george molly and william arther went to the states i would like to know if any one can help me find my roots grand father was also in the boar war there residencewas walton of the wolds any one heard of this my great grand parents werefarmers i think hope i hear from some one cheers daniel was born sept 9 1873 ellen kate was born nov19 1870
