I am still searching for information on John Hamer, b. ab. 1775 in N.C. to Mary(Hicks)Hamer and John Hamer V. He appears in the 1820 US census for Williamson Co. Tn. 1 male 45&up(Head of Household, 2 Females under 10, 1 Female 10-16, 1 Female 36-45, and 2 Females over 45. I am also searching for information on the 2 Females in his household that were over 45. I think(key word) that the two older females could be my GGG Grandmother, Frances(Hamer) Council(Counseille) who married Samuel Council, 2-11-1791,( and a widow by 1820), in Marlboro Co. S.C. and also my GGGG Grandmother, Mary (Hicks) Hamer who was also a widow, John V having died in 1782. I do know that Frances Council was in Williamson Co. Tn. with her mother in 1824 so they would more than likely be in the 1820 census, but do not appear in a census under either of their names as head of household. Is there anyone out there that is related to this John Hamer that could provide me with any
information about who these two females over 45 could be?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Bettye Carnahan
