I am searching for information on my 3 GreatGrand parents, Frances Hamer,( said to be Daughter of John Hamer V and Mary Hicks) and Samuel Council s/o Henry Council and Elizabeth (Pledger)Council. They were married Feb 11 1791.Frances (Hamer) Council was living in Williamson County Tennessee with her mother in 1824. There were many Hamers living there then. She is not in the census for 1820 or 1830, but I know she was there in one of the Hamer households. Her youngest son William Henry was also with her and her oldest son, Jesse S. was in Alabana close to Milton Hamer and Ammon Hamer. Jesse S. Council in a letter to his mother from Tuscaloosa, Al. in 1823 and 24. mentions Milton and Ammon. Hope someone has some information on these people. Thanks Bettye
