hi steve,many thanks for your prompt reply to my posting and the info you have provided.i am the grandson of morris hamer b1878 son of henry hamer of caer drain.briefly he went to bishop auckland around 1900,changed his name to maurice haymer and married my grandmother ada from whom we are descended.i will send you more details later as i am getting ready to go to spain next wk for a fertnight to my brother trevor,who has all my history files.we have an extensive tree starting in 1632.my main interest now is in sarah hamer b1880 of henry caer drain.she married a robert w. jones in 1902 in blaenau then followed morris to b/auckland,i need info of her from 1902 onwards.i need info of her from 1902 onwards.will be in touch regards ron
