I am looking for any information on the Adelor Hamel family of Chicago IL. He was from somewhere near St. Janvier Canada. Adelor Hamel immigrated to the US sometime around 1880 from St. Janvier, Quebec, Canada to Chicago IL.
He lists brothers and sisters back in Canada to be: Peter Hamel (wife Donalda) and children Albert and Rosabelba; Joseph and children Eva, Joseph and Edward; Alphonse (a baker); Anngelique (in the Furrier business); Eva with Little Sister of the Poor in France (a Catholic Mission).
He and his family lived a long time at 7932 S. Emerald Ave. He died after a short illness of pneumonia.
I have located many of Adelor's descendants and I now wish to find his family from Canada.
