Please can anyone help. I am looking for information on the family of my grandfather – Kenneth Millward Hambleton (b. circa 1919, d. 1968). Married Ethel Bailey and had two children – Carole Ann Hambleton (my Mum) and the late Peter Anthony Hambleton.
Kenneth was one of 10 siblings – Amy (married a Geoffrey Pegg), Harriet (married Syd), Eric (married Emmy), Jack (married Marjorie – 2 children – David and Christine), Irene (married Jack Perkins), Cissy (married Syd Hand), and 3 others (names unknown).
Their father (Hambleton – name unknown) was a Mounty in Canada for 5-10 years but returned to Leek, Staffs. 5 of the children were born before he went to Canada and 5 after. Married to Matilda (possibly nee Millward).
All I know is that they were from Leek, Staffs area. Any help/information would be greatly appreciated.
