Hi Les,

In cruising the forums I checked the Hamblen board and noticed your discussion on Mary Hyanno.
My line goes to John Hamblen, son of James, who married Sarah Bearse, daughter of Austin who came on the Confidence.
I have Austin married to Mary Wilder who came on the same boat with her mother.
I have been searching for an hour for an article I copied that was written up (I think in the NEHGR) and very thoroughly researched by a certified genealogist that says he proved to himself that Austin did not marry the Indian Mary Hyanno.
When I find it I'll let you know.

I also have Elwells and Durins but nothing further than what has already been discussed. I would be interested to learn if Sarah Sampson who married Moses Durin goes back to the Mayflower Sampson. I have her as the daughter of John Sampson, born 1627, and Sarah Pease.

Maybe you'll find that article about Mary Hyanno before I do the way I'm going. Good Luck.

Elvera
