looking for information on friedrich peter hamann who came to the US in 1852 aboard the "Southener" from Hamburg to New York on September 2,1852. At that time his age was 28. He came with his brother Henry(age34), and brother Johann(ahe 50) also included was Henry's wife Wilhelmine. They settled in Blue Island,Il. The story goes that Fred was not on the train when Henry and Johann left Blue Island to come to Minnesota in 1854. This is all the family history known about Friedrich Peter. Any help is appreciated.
