I have been researching my husbands family genealogy.I am currently researching the Hamann's and also Schroeder.Anyway.I have quiet a bit of info on this line of Hamann's which I am willing to share with anyone who might be connected to this line...Starting with :
Christian Friedrich Hamann (Married) Dorothea Margaret Clement
Who were both born in Schleswig-Holstein Germany.
Their children were: And All born in the same place;
1.) Christian Friedrich Hamann..Born: Dec,1844
2.) Detlef Heinrich Hamann...Born ?
3.) Johann Friedrich Hamann...Born?
4.) Wilhelm Friedrich Hamann...Born: June 24, 1854 ...Died:May19, 1941, Omaha Nebraska
5.)Heinrich Friedrich Hamann...Born: Novemeber 14, 1848...Died: December 4, 1934, Omaha Nebraska
6.) Friedrich Christian Hamann...Born: ?
Out of these 5 children only 4 came to America.. numbers 1,,4,5,and 6.
Heinrich emigrated to America with his older brother Christian Friedrich in 1869 coming directly to Omaha Nebraska.Two younger brothers Friedrich and Wilhelm Friedrich came to America in 1870.
I have quite a bit of info on these people if someone out there may need it. I would like to try and go further and find out about their parents Christian Friedrich Hamann and Dorothea Margaretha Clement.And also A Fredrich Schroeder who married into the Hamann family,he married a Hanna Hamann.Which she was born...Sept, 1886. And she re-married having 3 children with Friedrich.Him passing away..to a Peter Paltz.
