Some of my Halpin ancestors emmigrated to USA about 1867. One brother Thomas with wife Bridget were resident in Albany in 1880. Their chilren were all born in USA, they included Margaret, Ann, Thomas and Mary + others Th.e second brother Joseph, wife Annie had two sons Thomas 1878 and Joseph 1879. Father Joseph died before end of 1880. They also lived in NY. It is though he was a serving police officer at the time of his death but this is uncertain. I would like to hear from any possible descendents of these ancestors
