Maybe this adds a little bit of information:
My grandma, Rosa Halpern, and her sister Mina Halpern, were both born in Stanislawow. They emigrated to Argentina through Trieste after WWI, when they were approx. 16 to 20 years old. My grandma first married Jaime (James) Flint, who was also Jew and most probably was also Polish, from Galicia. Their firstborn was my father, Manuel Flint, born in Argentina in 1928. I do not know whether Mina ever married, because my grandmother and her did not talk to each other (I never knew the reasons for this either).
I am now looking for information on the Halpern family from Stanislawow, and possibly any data on my grandma's parents. Could you help?
Many thanks,
