Nathaniel, I am delighted to meet you. I live in the old Clayton home on what was once Cedar Rock Road and knew the Hallum well. John was a class mate of mine and Richasrd taught my brothers and sisters at Roanoke grammer, Lucille taught me. I have often wondered what had happened to all of them. Jerald Davis was my Eldest, He finished with Little earle Finley. I just passed age 94 and am a bit of genealogist in late life. I am so far active. Yes the county knows about the cemetery, my brouthers family own the property nearly across the 123 from it and between five fork Road and hwy 178. As I believe I to;d you the county had agreed to put a cemetery marker on 123. When you come I would love to have you visit me. I have quite A BIT OF HALLUM information and I am sure our Genealogy Room at Central Wesleyan has more. We or you could visit that.
