Can anyone identify:

James Lafayette HALLUM
b. 1838, TN

       Sarah N.       22 f       Ohio
       John H               1 m       Ark
       John C              12 m       Ark
       Clinton M       10 m       Ark
       Isaac               7 m Ark(twin to Rebecca who was
living with James & Sarah Flud in Franklin Co.1860)
(These Hallum children are sons of Sarah Stevens Hallum who
married James Flud 1852).

I think he is the same one that paid taxes in Pope Co, AR.

Also on this tax list is Allen McClatchey -- who had two sisters back in Mississippi married to men name Haltom/Hallum/Halton/Hullum of the many varied spellings.

If I can connect James Lafayette Hallum with those Hallums, it tells us something about both families, I think.
