I'm searching for parents of Hiram G.1804 NY/Jennette Munroe 1811 NY McCormick.Chn. Rev. William H.1832,Moses W 1834 and Carolyn Eliz.(Williams)1842 all Morristown area of NJ Rev. Wm's obit Dover, NJ 1908 mentions that Rev. D.W. Halloway of Memorial Presbyterian Church (Dover?) was in attendence. Below is a short on Wm's history and some surnames and time frame my connect to yours. If anything come up with McCormick, please advise.Thanks, Justine NAMES OF INTEREST TO ANYONE WHO HAD DECENDENTS THAT WERE REVERANDS IN ESSEX, UNION,HUDSON, MORRIS AND MIDDLESEX COUNTIES. 1882-Ran on Republican Ticket for Congress Pro-Probition and received a goodly Amount of 1,060 votes. He ran as fovor for Gen. Clinton B. Fisk who was running for Governor. 1851-Converted -Franklin St. Methodist Episcopal Church at 19 under Rev. I.N. Felch 1853-Licensed by Franklin Quarterly Conference as Exhorter.-William P. Corbitt-Pastor. Elder John S. Porter sent Wm.to supply Fort Lee-Bull’s Ferry & was licensed local preacher. 1854-N.J. Conference stationed him at new Dover, NJ.-Elder Caleb A. Lippincott-presiding. Comissioned Chaplin-lst. NJ Vol.being Robert B. Yard became ill. After Civil War assigned to complete term of Rev.Lippincott who died. 1869-remitted to Newark Conference on recommendation of Charles Larue, presiding elder. Besides Wm.in class Henry Spellmeyer,A.H.Tuttle,J.B.Brady,George Miller,T.R.Stratton.1872-73 Stationed at Tranquility-ordained Elder by Bishop Forster. At Rev. William H. McCormick’s funeral February 24.1908. Service conducted by Dr. C.Muller=elder,Paterson District. Speakers of his choice S.H.Jones, Dr.T.H.Landon(Bordentown),Rev.Charles S.Woodruff(Flemmington). Also in attendance Dr.Albert B.Richardson(lst.Meth.Epic.(Dover) Rev. D.W.Halloway(Memorial Presbyterian-Dover) .
