(As far as I know, I am not related to Walter Halloran. My g grandmother was Margaret Halloran from Inishbofin. She married Michael Schofield.)
A few brief facts:
Walter H. Halloran was a Jesuit priest and native of Jackson, Minnesota. He was one of the priests involved in the excorcism that inspired the book and movie, "The Exorcist".
He was an Army chaplain, served in Vietnam, and won two bronze stars.
Fr. Halloran passed away March 1, 2005 at the age of 83.
