Looking for info on William Henry Hallock. He was born in NY abt. 2/1855. Married to Sarah Jane SCOTT who was born 1861 in Newburgh NY. Sarah was the daughter of irish immigrants James A. Scott and Margaret Jane MOORE. They had the following children: Margaret (Maggie) in 1879, William Henry Jr. in 1884-1894 and Marie (Mamie) in 1886. Margaret married Walter Halstead in the early 1900s and Marie married Frank Snyder of Newburgh in the early 1900s. The last time I have the family together in on the 1900 US Census for Newburgh. William then disappears from the family but his wife is not listed as a widow. Family rumors suggest that he ran away with a co-worker. On the 1920 US Census, wife Sarah is listed as a widow. Does anyone know of this Hallock family? Possible parentage for William Henry is Charles and Rachel Hallock with a brother named John born abt. 1853.
