Looks like Hoadley and wife Sally were in NY when daughter Lucretia was born abt 1815.(1850 and later census age and place listed) The family shows up in Lawrence County OH in 1820 census listed as Hoadley Halleck age between 26 and 44. 1830 listed as Hdlay Hollick 40/under 50. 1840 Sally Halleck is head of Household.
Looking at 1810 NY census there are 56 Hallock, but also Hallacks, Hallecks, Hallicks plus more spellings as well through out the state.
Look at the names of Lucretia's sons as a clue for a first name of her grandfather.
