Edward Halligan was the father of Richard Halligan b 1856 who was living in Bradford, Lancaster County, England. Richard married Ann Fox, father John Fox, at the Roman Catholic church of St/ Francis in the district of Chorlton, Lancaster Co., England on Jan 20th, 1877. In the 1881 census Richard and Ann were living in Hulme; Richard's nephew John McNiff was living with them at that time.
