I have the first one of the books on the Halliburtons. The second book was more of a revised edition of the first one with more current information in it. The books are very good as the author has documented his material very well. However, there is not definite connection to an ancestor in Scotland, although there is a lineage chart in the book, no definite proof is given as to which one is our direct ancestor. My line comes through Polly White Halliburton who md. a Farthing in North Carolina. I will be glad to do look-ups for those who need it. The second edition is at our Special Collections Library (fantastic genealogical library) in Abq., NM.
