Rebecca,
I have a copy of the 1972 double edition. Checking it out, the only William Haliburton listed that might be David's
father is born 1674(indicated as #90 in the cronology) of John Haliburton of Newmains. The book
has some holes in it(or just as likely, I haven't found the clues yet! More reading!). I realize this would make him
pretty old when David(1001) was born in 1727.
