Hello, when I was talking to a person in Nova Scotia about my family history, I mentioned the Hollett surname of Adam's Cove. I was told that the Hollett/Hallet surname was mentioned in NS, they may originally have come up from the USA, and their were from the Lebanon area, close to now Iran (Persia area). One of the genetic references for a very early time frame would be green eyes, which has shown up in only two of our Nfld. associated relatives. If anyone has information on Halet/Lebanon connection perhaps to the USA>NS>NFLD, I would love to hear from you, sincerely, Denise, Williams Lake, Canada
