I believe the 1850 and 1860 censuses counted Jacob Haller. I know the 1870 Federal Census for Wythe County, VA, counted a Jacob Haller, age 73, a physician, born in PA, with his wife Priscella, 63, and two others... Edward, 27, a physician, his wife Billie, 22, and Jacob Jr, 23. Counted elsewhere in the census, and possibly Jacob's sons, were Charles Haller, 43, a merchant, Alex Haller, 37, a druggist, and William Haller, 41, a physician. Also, see posting # 157 in this forum, under heading "Dr. John Haller 1800 PA/VA Surgeon".
