Hi Caroline,

This sounds very exciting!!! It sounds like my people. I don't have the parents for Joseph Hallam - i have got he was born around 1801 - but it is not accurate.
What i do know is that he was transported with his brother Thomas. Joseph married Maria LOACH in around 1822 in East Leake. They had a daughter Hannah born in 1822.
Unfortunately i am in the middle of building a house, living with my parents and all of my family history stuff is at my sisters - i will double check it to see if i can get more info.
