John Hall of Gloucester Co., Va.

DNA has proven that John Hall, who died circa 1778 and left heirs: Benjamin, Elizabeth (Purcell) and Mildred, was descended from Thomas and Margery Claxton Hall of Gloucester co., Va. Thomas arrived in the Colony of Virginia circa 1640. He and Margery had 2 sons: Thomas Jr and John. Each of those men had sons named John. This has meant there were several John Halls all present at the same time in the same place. I do not know from which son of Thomas and Margery, my John Hall descends. And may never know since records are very scarce from Gloucester due to its being burned more than once.
