Sandra, There was another Aurelia Dupree who lived in early coastal Georgia. She married James Pace in 1754, according to a Pace family genealogy posting. It says she was born 1713/14, and died bet. 1777 and 1826 n Nova Scotia. I think this James Pace is the same one who was named, along with John Hall, as a traitor, by the Council of Georgia in 1776. The family removed to St Augustine, which is where James Pace died. His family fled to Nova Scotia. This James Pace is described as a tavern keeper in articles about him. His parents were Richard Pace born 1700 Va, died 1775 St Paul's Parish, Ga, and Elizabeth Cain.
Also, there is information about a Charles Hall from the Rev Records of Ga, Vol 1, p 156: July 8, 1776 " Mr. William Belcher waited on the Board and qualified as Justice of the Peace fro the Parish of Saint Philip, and also took the test appointed for all the male inhabitants of this province. He also informed the Board of sundry dangerous practices of William Love and Charles Hall of St. Philip's Parish". I think this must refer to Loyalist activities by Charles Hall and William Love.
