Hi Cathy. Thanks for the links. I really enjoyed looking over the book. I am trying to decode the relationship between my ancestors William, Uriah and Philip S. Hall. My gg grandfather was Philip S. Hall who was born in Georgia but lived in Mississippi. In the 1860 Federal Census (Tallahatchie County MS), there was a William Hall, aged 70 living with Philip. The census states that William was born in VA. There is a land record in MS that shows a Cynthia Hall giving land to Philip. The deed states that the land originally belonged to Uriah Hall for his service in the war of 1812. There is a Uriah and a William Hall living in Jackson County GA in 1820 and 1830. In your book you say that there was a William Hall who lived in Mississippi that was the brother of Hezekiah B Hall (1773) and present at the settling of his estate. Perhaps this is my Wiliam? I assume that William and Uriah are brothers since one lived with Philip and one gave him his land. Can you help me determine if this is the same William that is brother of Hezekiah in your book? Thanks
