I'd like to clear up the confusion regarding Esther Hall who married Benjamin Rexford July 1, 1760 in Wallingford, New Haven Co. Connecticut. Many have her born April 24, 1729, daughter of Caleb & Esther Humphreville Hall. Others have that Esther married to Ichabod Lewis. I've seen that info in a book on New Haven Co. Ct. families, no mention of another marriage. From what I've seen on family trees Ichabod didn't die until 1778, but some have her married to both men. It appears to me that there were multiple Esther Halls. Benjamin Rexford was born in 1739 which would make the Esther born 1729 10 years older than him. People who have this Esther born 1729 to Caleb & Esther Humphreville Hall & married to Rexford also have her having children as late as 1782 when she would have been 53. That seems medically impossible, especially in those days. I found some kind of record on Ancestry that the Esther who married Benjamin Rexford was born in 1741. If that's true who were her parents?
