I am searching for ancestors of Stephen Hall, born June 1847 and married Elizabeth Hammon in Magoffin County, Kentucky. They had 4 children: William, Joseph Silas (my grandfather), James Milton and Sinda. Stephen married 2nd Rachel Singleton and they had 2 children: Ketura and Stephen. I have searched for over 40 years and can find no documentation on Stephen's ancestry. There was at one time a claim by older family members that Stephen's father's real name may have been Adams rather than Hall, but I have never been able to verify that. I hope someone can help me break through this stone wall!
