In the name of God Amen I Richard Hall of Saint Ann parish in the County of Albemarle Considering the Incertainty of this Life do make & Ordain this to be my Last Will in manner following my Will & desire is that all my Debts be paid & my Body decently Buried at the discretion of my Executors & Executrix hereafter named I give the use & profits of my plantation whereon I now live with the horses stocks of Cattle & hogs with all my Goods of what Nature or kind so ever / except one Feather Bed & furniture hereafter Devised unto my beloved Wife Ann for & during her natural Life & after her decease the said Land & plantation with all the Goods & Chattels hereby Devised to my said Wife I give & bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth Hall & the heirs of her Body forever but in Case my Daughter Elizabeth die without heirs of her Body Living at her Death Then I give & Bequeath the aforesaid Land & plantation with the appurtenances unto my Grandson John Hall Trent & his heirs forever, I give & bequeath to my said Daughter Elizabeth one Feather Bed & furniture, I give to my son John Hall one shilling, I give I give to my son Richard Hall one shilling, I give to my Daughter Mary Trent one shilling, I give to my Daughter Ann Wife of George Duncan one shilling, I give to my Daughter Jane Wife of John Duncan one shilling, I appoint my Wife Ann & Daughter Elizabeth Executrices & Benjamin Tindal & Thomas Tindal Executors of this my said Will & I revoke all Others at any Time by me heretofore made

At a Court held for Albemarle County the eighth day of May 1760 This Last Will & Testament was proved by the Oaths of Thomas Ballow & James Robinson two of the Witnesses thereto & Ordered to be recorded & on the Motion of Anne Hall Exect & Benjamin Tindal Executor therein Named Certificate is Granted them for Obtaining probat thereof in due form Giving Security on which they with Thomas Tindal & Henry Trent Their Securities Entered into & acknowledged their Bond for the same according to Law Test John Nicholas Clk
