I am wondering if there's anyone out there in NY who might be able to help me with my gggrandfa's line. They are on the 1850 Jefferson co, NY census as noted. Chauncey Hall was born circa 1799 and married a Betsey Miller (probably from MA). Their first child, Helen was born in 1832 and my ggrandfa Oscar Alonzo in 1833. All 8 children show as born in New York. The youngest being Eugene Benjamin b 1849. I am wondering if anyone could find any marriage info on this couple and any record of birth for the 3 mentioned and Nelson A, Chauncy M, Milton, Franklin, and Cornelia b 1846. By 1860 He was in MI.
Just in case anyone would be willing and needs a return favor, at some point I am going to be going to Antrim co, MI for records, a long trip for me.
