We have one male direct descendant represented in the FTDNA database, under kit #83216.
However, only one representative is not adequate to insure accuracy of the profile.
We urgently request that other direct-line male HALL descendants from this line submit a sample for DNA analysis. If you find the FTDNA expense too great, please consider submitting to the free DNA analysis at the Sorenson Group, a non-profit research organization. It takes forever to get results from Sorenson, but they are certainly a reputable group, and it's a way to get a DNA profile into a database for free. One or two more consistent profiles would give us confidence that the current profile is truly representative of our William's line. Take a look at the Sorenson site: http://www.smgf.org/
